Delegates are our guests at Palazzo Versace conferences
Palazzo Versace is Australia's leading location for events with style, pizzazz and flair. Expect impeccable attention to detail, personalised attention and a touch of glamour with every conference, incentive, party, function or special event. That's Palazzo Versace.
And if you're getting down to business – our range of unique conferences and incentive services will impress you. By arrangement, the Palazzo Versace experience can start from the moment guests arrive at the airport with our porters meeting flights and overseeing the transfer of luggage from airport to hotel room. The elegant touches continue with groups being offered fresh juice and lavender-scented refreshment towels on arrival at the hotel. All this before the event has even started!
Recognised as Australia's Most Luxurious Hotel, Palazzo Versace has conference and event facilities for 12 to 500 people. The conference facilities are located in a purpose designed event sector of the hotel accessed via a spacious pre function lobby. The function rooms of Palazzo Versace vary not only in size but also in character and style.
The grand La Medusa ballroom is suited to larger conferences, roadshows, product launches and exhibitions as well as glamorous gala events. The room has the facilities to host 500 for cocktails or 250 for banquet / dining and can be divided into three similar intimate rooms.
The Marco Polo Room is ideal for medium sized gatherings and has a comfortable capacity for 60 people in a theatre style. The elegant oval Boardroom has a magnificent board table for 12 people and is the perfect place to host private meetings, luncheons or intimate dinners.
Full day meeting packages for more than 20 guests include morning and afternoon tea, working lunch, freshly squeezed orange juice, filter coffee and teas served with lunch, full day use of meeting room with pads, pens, mints and iced water and the use of a whiteboard or flip chart.
New banquet menus and meeting packages incorporate the latest in food trends at Palazzo Versace. One that is especially designed to suit the hotel is the Italian Banquet. Conference and Events Manager, Ms Morgan Benner says 'one enormous table is set in white, with the entrée built up through the centre offering a delicious selection of breads, antipasto style dishes including marinated vegetables, cheeses, cured meats, poached asparagus and frittata. The main selection includes fillet of beef on a blue mascarpone tart, wilted spinach, Chianti jus and salsa verde or braised shank of lamb, green apple fondante, sautéed potato gnocchi and vegetable ragout. Gorgeous desserts include tiramisu with espresso coffee anglaise and slices of confit orange. Perfetto and delizioso!' This meal epitomises the Italian free style of dining staying on the table throughout the meal; it is relaxed dining in a very stylish environment.
Morgan heads up a team of event professionals and joined the hotel with a strong history in event management with the Real Estate Institute of Queensland and Tattersall's Club Brisbane. Morgan and her team are responsible for coordinating client requirements with hotel services.
The hotel has become a favourite incentive location for small executive groups or larger franchise group travel rewards. Guests particularly enjoy the energetic and diverse attractions available within the Gold Coast while basing themselves at this beautiful hotel. Groups not wishing to venture too far from Palazzo Versace are able to enjoy Salus per Aquum Spa, the Versace Boutique and the marina for easy access to the Broadwater.
